Registration for Ringing Remembers has now closed. If you would like to learn to ring, we have a new Learn to Ring website where you can register your interest. The site is still under development, but you should be able to register without difficulty. Thank you everyone who registered or took part.
Ringing Remembers and Big Ideas have produced a certificate to record the names of ringers who take part in commemorative ringing on 11th November. See the Ringing Remembers event on BellBoard.
We have now posted 2400 badges. This includes everyone who had signed up by 5th November and told us they had had a first lesson, could ring both strokes, or could ring in rounds (over 1500 so far) which well surpasses our target of 1400 new ringers. There is now an official event on The Ringing World BellBoard to link your ‘attempts’ and ‘performances’ to. It doesn’t need to be a peal or quarter peal – all ringing of any length including Tolling the Tenor, Rounds and Call changes or a short touch can be included.
